For a long time, I’ve wanted a place where I could share my carvings, my story, and the culture that inspires everything I create. Today, I’m excited to welcome you to the new Eye of Abalone website.
Whether you’ve followed my journey for years or you’re discovering my work for the first time, thank you for taking the time to visit. My hope is that this website gives you a better understanding of who I am, what I create, and why preserving Nuu-chah-nulth culture through carving is so important to me.

Over time, I’ll be adding new pieces, sharing works in progress, and giving you a look behind the scenes at the carving process. I’ll also post updates about upcoming projects, exhibitions, workshops, and other opportunities to connect.
This website isn’t just a gallery—it’s a place where I can continue sharing the knowledge, teachings, and traditions that have been passed down to me.

Carving at Archer's Community Hub
My carving space is located at Archer Community Hub in Victoria, where I spend countless hours creating new work and continuing to learn and grow as an artist.
The Hub has become more than just a workspace.
It’s a creative community where artists, musicians, and makers come together to support one another. It’s also where I have the opportunity to mentor youth and share traditional carving techniques, helping pass knowledge forward to the next generation.
I’m incredibly grateful to Jonny G and everyone at Archer Community Hub for welcoming me into the space and supporting my journey as both an artist and a mentor.
